WLS Recruitment are looking to recruit skilled and experienced Maintenance Engineer to manage repairs and inspections of all machinery for their prestigious client based in County Durham (Stanley) to start ASAP on a permanent basis.
You will be responsible for the continuous running of equipment, machinery, and plant services, as well as management of repairs and inspections all machinery, plant equipment, LEV’s, Fire Alarm and Lighting tests.
Key responsibilities & duties
- Creating, Plan and undertake scheduled maintenance programmes – (TPM for plant machinery and equipment, LEV’s, Fire alarms, Lighting, PA Testing etc)
- Responding to breakdowns
- Diagnosing breakdown problems
- Dealing with emergencies, unplanned problems, and repairs
- Supervising any on site repairs by subcontractors / suppliers
- Obtaining specialist quotes, components, fixtures, or fittings
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation
- Creating maintenance procedures
- Managing stocks of supplies and equipment where appropriate.
Shifts are Monday to Friday between 8am until 5pm.
Salary is negotiable
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
