We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Production Planner to join our clients team. As a Production Planner, you will play a crucial role in coordinating and planning production activities to ensure efficient and timely delivery of products. Your expertise in supply chain management, continuous improvement, and business processes will contribute to the success of our manufacturing operations.
Duties:
– Develop and maintain production schedules based on customer demand, inventory levels, and production capacity
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information for scheduling,
– Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as needed to meet changing demands or resolve issues
– Ensure timely delivery of materials and components
– Optimise production schedules to minimise waste, reduce lead times, and improve overall efficiency
– Conduct regular analysis of production data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement
– Implement continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes and enhance productivity
– Collaborate with quality control team to ensure adherence to product specifications and standards
– Maintain accurate documentation of production schedules, inventory levels, and other relevant data
Experience:
-· Proven experience as a production planner in a fast-paced environment
· Excellent knowledge of production planning principles.
· A good working knowledge of MS office.
· Strong organizational & problem-solving skills.
· Excellent communications skills.
· Understanding of lean principles to initiate change throughout the process.
