CNC Operator/Setter

WLS Recruitment are looking to recruit CNC Operator for our client based in Co Durham

You would be required to work 2pm – 10pm Monday – Friday

Hourly rate £17.86 p/h inclusive of Shift Allowance

Duties:
– Develop and write CNC programs for machining operations based on engineering drawings and specifications
– Set up and operate CNC machines to produce parts according to program instructions
– Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary to ensure quality and accuracy
– Collaborate with engineers and production team to optimise machining processes
– Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines to ensure proper functioning
– Troubleshoot and resolve issues with CNC programs or machine operations

Skills:
– Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of machining principles
– Experience with fabricating, welding, and materials handling
– Familiarity with tooling selection and setup for different machining operations
– Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
– Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
– Ability to work independently or as part of a team
